THERMOCOUPLE 750mm M9x1 UNIFIED SLEEVE

Description:

750mm long thermocouple, SIT 200 series, with an M9x1mm nut (which suits most SIT control valves including Minisit) and a unified sleeve with slots designed for clamping to pilot brackets, also able to be clamped using a nut also available from our store (BS0.974.036).

Application:

Thermocouples are attached to gas control valves as a sensor for the flame/heat, they hold a solenoid open and allow gas to pass when there is a flame present.

they are a safety feature designed to shut off the gas to a burner in the event that the flame goes out (known as “flame failure”).

Features:

Particularly suitable for general use (heaters, water heaters, boilers and other gas appliances) which do not require special characteristics.
Normal opening times on ignition and closing times on shutdown.
